NoSQL Schema Evolution: Darwin and MigCast

Darwin is a Data Platform for NoSQL Schema Evolution Management and Data Migration. Darwin supports the whole schema evolution management and data migration lifecycle. The system is implemented for different types of NoSQL database systems.

Selecting the appropriate migration strategy is a huge challenge. We have developed the data migration advisor MigCast for this purpose. MigCast is implemented on top of Darwin.

Darwin and MigCast were developed as part of the DFG project “NoSQL Schema Evolution and Big Data Migration at Scale”.
